I LOVE VALENTINES!!
I am so excited for tomorrow because then I get to start the......
14 Days of Valentines~
(I got this idea from Angelica..I used to work with her when I was a wedding consultant, so I thank her for the idea.)
Day 1: Tomorrow night I am making 1 large homemade vegetable pizza with a red heart that says,"I am 1 lucky girl to have you".
Day 2: We have school till 10pm so when we get home I will rub his 2 tired feet while he eats 2 chocolate covered strawberries or bananas.
Day 3: Make him 3 of his favorite things for breakfast.
Day 4: This one is private.
Day 5: Fun 5 things to do for a date. Give him a list of the 5 things we are going to do for a date. Plan A- I was going to go get something to eat, go sledding with him, have hot chocolate, watch a movie, and cuddle, but it is not snowing so that will not work so we go to Plan B: Get something to eat, go country dancing (we have not gone since we were dating 2yrs ago), have hot chocolate or ice cream (depending how hot or cold we are), go home cuddle up and watch a romantic movie together.
Day 6: I am making 6 YUMMY magic bars with a red heart that says, "you make our marriage MAGICAL" (I know it is cheesy).
Day 7: 7 min in Heaven- full body massage (it might take longer then 7min. ha)
Day 8: 8 rolo cookies (they melt in your mouth when you bite into them so I will have a little note that says, "you melt my heart away".
Day 9: Write him a poem with 9 lines and read it to him.
Day 10: put 10 sticky notes all over his mirror with love quotes we say to each other.
Day 11: 11 HUGS & KISSES
Day 12: In 12 words I will write him a note telling him we are going shopping for slippers because he really wants some!(we have hard wood floor in the main area and so it is really cold on his feet in the morning)
Day 13: I have a big card made up for him with 13 reasons why I love him out of 500 million.
Day 14: a special, romantic dinner.
This time about now is when I am ready for winter to be over, having Valentines just makes everything better..at least for 14 days:)

A random trip to the Big Apple~
We just got back from NYC 4 days ago and we really had a fabulous time! About two weeks ago we decided to be spontaneous and go to NYC because..well just for fun really! I have been to NYC a lot but Tay has never been so it was really fun to go with him. I honestly LOVE taking off work and school to have a little get away with him. The only thing that I wish is that we would have waited for the summer because it WAS SO COLD. Other then being cold NYC was great, we both realized we would NEVER want to live in the city..unless Tay went to school or got a job there then I guess we would live in up state NY (a lot better in my opinion).
We quickly learned to say NO to people, right when we got off the plane a guy told us to follow him to his cab..so we did..(DUMB)anyway we continued to follow him into the parking garage, he finally stopped at this black SUV and we got in (dumb again) anyway he pulled a gun on us and told us to give him any money we had.
just kidding, just thought I would liven up the story, no we were really fine but he did charge us 80 dollars for the cab ride which was a joke.
After a couple days in NYC we took a bus to go see my brother Ben and his cute family in Boston.
The Condo we stayed at~(for free) - the view was amazing..we have a pic of it on Tay's phone but I'm too lazy to download it right now so here are the pics I got of just the inside of the Condo (which was really nice place to stay at..kind of plan.)

THE MUSEUM of Natural History~

BROADWAY PLAY~ We went and saw the Lion king which was seriously SO amazing, I love plays, they are so entertaining especially broad way ones! I kept trying to take pics but I kept getting in trouble..so I couldn't even take one of me and Tay, the ladies that worked there had their means pants on.
(we also went to ground ZERO..and they still have not finished the memorial, it was still neat to see how tall the building is going to be that they are building.)

SERENDIPITY~ One thing that bugs me about this place is that they charge so much for a meal because they serve such LARGE AMOUNTS and then you can only eat a small amount which makes me fill guilt we paid for it so we continue to shove our faces with food until we realized we haven't even eaten dessert yet. So we got Two desserts a frozen hot chocolate and a fudge ice cream... we only took about two sips of the hot chocolate and could barely make a dent in the fudge ice cream..It was VERY good though:)I only ask that they make there portion sizes smaller- but that is America's way of getting us nice and plump.

FOR THE LAST DAY WE DIDN'T HAVE A LOT OF TIME TO DO ANYTHING BUT WE DID MAKE A TRIP TO GET TO THIS WAFFLE STAND IN CENTRAL PARK~ my brother Ben and his wife recommended it to us. SO AMAZING! we would have eaten there ever day if we would have know how mouth watering good they are! When we got home Tay tried to make them and it took hours to make and he obviously didn't have the same recipe so they weren't as good but still very satisfying.

Life is a Gift~
This post is a few random things but I just wanted to update before school starts next week because then I won't have as much time...
The Gift~
I got some WONDERFUL gifts for Christmas this year although there is one particular gift that is very sentimental to me that was given to me from my Favorite Aunt Patty. She had a good neighbor (Harold Skousen) put all of our home videos that were on tape transferred onto a DVD set. My husband and I watched them together; I smiled, laughed, and cried. Those memories that were documented truly mean so much to me. I was 2 when my Mother past away and I really don't recall any memories of her or my family that young. Watching the home videos really brought up feelings that I have not had in a very long time. I am so used to not having a mom in my life but watching those made me realize how much she loves me and all of her children. There is such a great joy and peace I feel inside knowing that she LOVES me. I feel so blessed that I have these memories that I can look back on..NOT dwell on because that only makes me depressed. I love my family SO very much and am grateful for all the good times we have shared with each other. Thank you Patty for the WONDERFUL gift of memories.

MARC & MICHELLE'S NEW ADDITION~
I am a little late blogging on this because I don't have any pics of this cute little guy..but this one..
Baby Henry~

My BEAUTIFUL, HANDSOME little nephew was born Oct. 30th he weighs 9lbs, 8 ounces. He is really the perfect little man. So chubby! I want to kiss his face so bad. Unfortunately I have not had the privilege to munch on his sweet little face because that sweet little face is all the way in Argentina. I really do have the cutest/handsomest nephews, I have 10 nephews and they are all the BEST! I miss them all so much!
NEW YEARS EVE~
Tay took me to the ROOF for our first New Years Eve~
We felt like rich people because we honestly have NEVER spent so much money on ONE meal. The food was simply mouth watering good, the view was a very beautiful site of down town SLC, the pianist played so lovely that her tone she set made the environment seem very elegant and fancy.
CHEERS to SPENDING WAY TOO much money! ~ It is a wonderful way of starting the NEW year.

Dinner with friends~
