Match maker..but NOT really...

For some odd reason I see a person with a "single status" and think oh I need to set them up! This is where I start racking through my brain what guy/girl would suit each other the best. Well I have set many people up on dates and the results are what follows..

JED

&
Kayleen BOM (I thought her last name was bom..because she put herself in my phone under that but that really stands for Book Of Mormon..that is how we met is through our religion class.)

Completely DIFFERENT!..there was NOT a second date with these two.

Well I felt bad that didn't work out so I thought things might go differently with...Ali..

This date resulted as "Just Friends"

MAX

Was set up with this girl I used to work with...
Candice

Both GREAT individuals! Just not so great for each other..

Once again I decided it was worth another shot...I set Max up with one of my best friends...
Melissa

=friends!...I think..I don't believe they have really connected with each other since..

Just this week I set my friend's husbands' brother
Nick..

up with this girl I work with..
Kyra

We had a wonderful time....well I did!We had

, (so yummy), and
up in the canyon! Food was so yummy and the company was so great! I can't help but smile thinking of what a joyous time I had:)
RESULTS~
I think they both felt different toward each other so it might not go anywhere but I thought they were both such talented, cute people:)

I keep thinking I will learn my lesson to stop setting people up BUT one of these times I am going to make love happen! I feel so blessed that I have such a wonderful man and I want everyone else to experience the wonderful joy of having a best friend FOREVER!

Joyful times!

Last Saturday we were planning on going hiking with our friends but.....then we had something better come up..........BOATING! I really don't ever care about being rich but I just ask for enough money for a boat down the road of life!! I have been boating before I could walk..and then we had a family tragity and my Dad sold our boat and house boat in 2007. It was like loosing a family member:( Anyway so when ever we get the chance to go WE GO! We went with my friend and her husband and other people, up to Utah Lake. The water was so choppy it was hard to do much but just being on the boat was a BLAST!!
~After boating we went to Zupas..which is simply delightful to my mouth and tummy!

~We then headed back to our house and played Greed.....(the dice game) After playing that we just looked at each other deciding what to do.........well the boys wanted to be active so they wen outside and did the arm pull (the game Joseph Smith would play with a wooden stick).
(I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO PUT THE VIDEO UP OF THEM DOING THIS BUT IT WON'T LOAD! I HAVE NOT IDEA HOW TO LOAD VIDEOS ON MY BLOG IT JUST WILL NEVER LET ME!! GRRR!!)

~Next was the leg wrestle..
Well once again this is on video and I cannot upload it:( so sad..

~Then they moved back to the house for some wall seating to see who could air sit the longest...Jake won that one..
~Oh don't worry they are not done..now they decided to have a contest to see who could hold their breath the longest..Tay won that one...

~Who can stand on one foot the longest..well it went on for 10min and they both would not budge so I said to start pushing each other to see who would fall to the ground first.

Tay won that one..

NOw they moved it to the floor and did..well I don't know exactly what its called..Tay one this one.. AFter that they were tired so we ended the night with a fun round of skipbo! Oh I love friends they bring so much joy:)

Just this past Sunday we went to this rich girl's farewell in Pepperwood, oh don't worry her last name totally fits her..CASH..yep it fits like glove! Anyway we had a fun tiime hanging out in her rich home, with her rich family, and her richy food! So here are some pics..we had a great time coming up with a bucket list with some other people! I didn't get very many pics but here are a few..

JACK JOHNSON Connert was just so fabulous!

I love his songs..they are just so awesome! We also had great entertainment around us from our friends. I think they got drunk off water..the guys would always be disapearing and coming back with some random girls ha oh they make me laugh..Tay and I just stayed close and watched all our single friends act crazy while we swayed with one another to the voice of Jack Johnson:) how the night was wonderful.

Were only sad because the conneret is almost over!

To BE or NOT to be.......

After much deliberation about what career path I should take, whether it be an
interior designer,

event/wedding planner, or a

~teacher; I have always felt since I was a mini person that I would be a teacher and that would be what would suit my personality best. I pretend that my stuffed animals were my students and I would always be getting after them because they just sat there and did not move, lets just say that they didn't get any beans in there cups or stars on their HW. Reflecting on those memories made me think that I really do love children and would love to teach them. Now as far as my future goes...it would be a very ideal job for me after I have children and they are older (as of in school) I can go back to teaching and have the same schedule as them because of course my main job will be raising my children. The only reason why I didn't want to be a teacher is because I wanted to do something unique as my career..you know try and be different like everyone else:) I decided that as long as I like doing it then it doesn't matter if it is UNIQUE.

~ I have been a wedding coordinator and LOVED that job so much! I really enjoyed working on people's happiest day of their lives. Talking about it makes me want to do it again! The down side to being an event planner: I know it would consume a lot of me and my time (I am thinking in the future when I start my family), also it does not require any schooling and I really want to increase my education by getting a degree in the career I would like to go into. I was considering getting my business degree to open my own business but I really don't think that is what I see my self doing because that would require me to stay here in Utah which I don't think Tay and I have planned to be here in Utah for the long run.

~LOVE, LOVE interior design and would do it if I did not have to DRAFT! I took a drafting class and I hated it, especially on the computer!Blah! I have been drawing floor plans on paper, dirt, and with my food since I was young. I was always decorating and rearranging rooms, furniture all time at my Dad's house! BUT...there is a BIG BUT...I really would not care for drafting.

All jobs have up's and down's but the job I see fit best for me is .....
to be teacher. I am all registered for school and will be going to LDSBC until I can transfer to BYU next fall..hopefully:) or Utah State extension school. yay for school and increasing knowledge whoa!

Crap Cookies

The other day Tay and I wanted to make cookies to give to our primary kids. I wanted to make these cookies that my step mom always makes (that everyone seems to enjoy). I call my Dad to ask for the recipe.(There are two things you need to know about my Dad to understand this story: 1. He HATES processed food 2. He is a health freak.) Well my Dad will not give me the recipe over the phone, he said it would be easier to email it to me. So I just received this email:

*caution* Don't read if you get offended of swearing. I don't want to really edit this..better if its original.

"Puking Chocolate Shit Cookie Recipe(gag me)

1 1/2 crisco sticks (butter flavor) Highly processed to help you with inducing cancer.
2 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar. (I must say this is better than processed white granulated sugar)

4 Tbl spoon milk. (pasteurized milk no less, disgusting.)
2 Tbl spoon vanilla. (use real vanilla not imitation garbage.)
2 eggs. (it might be a nice gesture to use farm eggs rather than eggs from a commercialized egg farm. there is a lot of garbage in the chicken feed to increase egg production that we can do without in our bodies which is passed on to us throughout the eggs that these chickens lay.)

4 1/2 cups flour. (the recipe didn't specify white flour or whole wheat. Hmmmm I wonder which it is. Surely it is with out saying they wanted white flour? don't you think? Well think again. They want grade A wipe white flour. sick
2 teaspoon salt. (no don't even ask, of course they want Real Salt.
1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
One 12 oz package Hershey milk choc chips.

Directions:

Heat oven to 350 degree.
Combine butter flavor crisco, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in a large bowl.
Beat at medium speed with electric mixer until creamy.
Beat eggs into creamed mixture.
combine flour, salt and baking soda and mix into creamed mixture until just blended.
Stir in Chocolate chips and walnuts
drop rounded tablespoons size of dough onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for ten minutes (cookies will appear moist, do not over bake them or they will turn into a pile of pooh.

There you have it shit cookies

-Dad"

Even though my Dad seems very bitter towards this recipe, the cookies really are yummy!:)..just don't tell him I said that.
I LOVE MY DAD.

A SIMPLY WONDERFUL WEEK

Last week was heaven for me because my family was in town! I only get to see my brothers once a year and it is in the summer (besides this year I saw them twice because of my wedding). My family will get together for ONLY one week. Just to let you know how bitter/sweet it is. Picture eating a REALLY good deseret..like this..

(If this does not look good to you..then something is wrong with you and you can think of your favorite dessert.)

and only taking ONE BITE and then someone takes it away from you. Well thats how I feel because I had such a WONDERFUL time with them and I remember how great they are and then they just leave again for a year. Oh well I just have to cherish the time I do have with them. Okay now that you understand how I feel I wll move on.

My Birthday: such a delight now I am the big 20! yeah..not a teenager. I feel mature just saying that.

We had a big get together at Tay and my place. I really loved being surrounded by family. I didn't ever get a pic of my cake and I wish I did because it was SO YUMMY! Tay got me a mint chocolate chip ice cream cake! my favorite! we had fun playing the name game and visiting with one another!

We went down to the sand dunes with My Dad, (his new toys) Marc & Michelle..which by the way she is pregnant and is having a baby boy! So now I will have 10 nephews and only one niece! SO EXCITING! Any ways they make such cute babies so I am so thrilled for them and myself.

here are a few pics from 4 wheeling in the dunes.

It was so miserable HOT and we just had tents which were way to hot to go in so we would just sit in the little shade we had with bugs and hotness to accompany us. My little nephew was just sitting there and said, "why did you bring us here!?" ha and then they would ask how many more minutes till we get to go home, well not for two more days ha. The next day our family friends came with their nice motor home with AC! SO WE WERE LOVIN THAT! Max supprised us and came down with this one girl and then he crashed the four wheeler, passed out, and has a really messed up knee now. I like four wheeling but it it is so dangerous. Boating is just better. Anyways overall we had lots of good times and fun memories:)

BOATing it up!

The night before we went boating with the fam. the boys decided to take it out for a test run. Because I'm cool I got to attend this little boat run with them. Unfortunately it was so windy so the water was WAY choppy so I never ended up skiing or anything but I enjoyed watching the guys on the air chair.

Wed. we all went boating for the day with the fam! tons of fun! One day I will own a boat, I just have such a love for boating!

When we got home from boating all day the kids just wanted to go swimming..I guess they just didn't get enough water fun for the day so we then went swimming at my dad's house...the day was filled with lots of water fuN:)

Lava Hot Springs!!
The following weekend we went up to Idaho for the Wilker Fam reunion! I'm so glad Patty always makes an effort to put together a reunion every year. Its so good to stay in touch with family.
